Dimi is a global investor based in Singapore who currently focuses on products that improve productivity for people and organizations. As a third-generation Chinese-Indonesian who has lived and worked in Asia, U.S., and Europe, he is a bridge that connects founders and operators across various tech ecosystems. He is a strong believer in “go global” entrepreneurs who are leveraging their sector knowledge to compete in global markets.
Before joining GGV, Dimi was a founder building a digital wealth startup. Prior to that, he led investments and deal execution across Asia for a regional VC firm. He started his career in London, where he cut his teeth in pan-European growth equity and LBOs. He has an MSc Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was president of the Asia Business Club.
Dimi spent more than a year traveling the world, dedicating this time to learn about the “Global South” and volunteering for NGOs across Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. He speaks English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Indonesia.
