Temasek Appoints GGV Capital Managing Partner Jenny Lee to its Board of Directors

October 13, 2021, Singapore - GGV Capital is pleased to confirm the appointment of Jenny Lee to Temasek Holdings’ Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2022.

A Managing Partner with GGV Capital since 2005, Jenny is one of the world’s most respected investors. Since 2012, she has been consistently recognized on the Forbes Global 100 VC Midas List, the definitive ranking of the world's top 100 venture capitalists, and became the first woman to break into its Top 10 in 2015. Renowned for her focus on startup innovation, Jenny has been instrumental in helping 10 startups go public, including Agora, XPeng, and WPS. After joining GGV, Jenny opened the firm’s first China office and later returned home to re-open its office in Singapore. She also leads the fund’s global fundraising activities.

Jenny is a well-known figure within the Singapore business community, a recipient of the Business China Young Achiever Award and The Business Times Outstanding Executive Award, and named on the Forbes Asia’s Power Businesswomen Top 25 list.
