Jenny Lee is a Partner at GGV Capital and is responsible for GGV’s China investments and operations. Jenny focuses on the Internet, Digital Media, Software and Business Services sectors and currently sits on the Board of hiSoft, China Talent Group (CTG), 21Vianet, Duowan, and SinoSun.
Prior to GGV, Jenny was a Vice President at JAFCO Asia and led JAFCO’s investments in technology companies in China and HK, including Pollex Mobile (acq. by MediaTek), hiSoft, APM, BCD, etc. Jenny was instrumental in helping the portfolio companies strengthen their management team as well as in strategy formulation and market expansion outside China.
Jenny was also an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and prior to that, held various engineering and operating positions at Singapore Technologies Aerospace in Singapore.
Jenny holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and graduated with a Masters in Engineering from Cornell University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering also from Cornell University. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys golf, outdoor water sports and hanging out with entrepreneurs.
